Russian government registration

According to the Russian official announcement on June 29, 2010, health certificates related to food were officially cancelled. As of July 1, 2010, electrical and electronic products belonging to sanitary-epidemic monitoring will no longer require sanitary certification, and will be replaced by a certificate of registration from the Russian government.

In the past, in addition to products related to food and drinking water (such as electrical products that come into contact with food), general laptops or computer screens (products with radiation) must apply for Russian hygiene certification.
